The US Commerce Department has terminated market access for Chinese state-backed semiconductor firm Jinhua Integrated Circuit Co Ltd for stealing intellectual property from MU.
The move will prevent Jinhua from purchasing components, software and technology from U.S. Firms.
Sources suggest the Trump Administration acts to protect the supply chain for technology used by the U.S. military, and that this latest move is designed to prevent foreign firms from flooding the market with knock-off goods. |
